Making the unreal a reality

Unrealfund exists because we believe the best companies are the ones people said couldn't — or shouldn't — be built. We like those. We buy them, build them, accelerate them, and occasionally dream them up from scratch. Our whole job is to take something that sounds a little unreal and quietly turn it into something obvious in hindsight.

Having fun while we build

We're not interested in building companies the joyless way. Building is supposed to be fun — the late-night ideas, the "wait, what if we just…", the small wins that compound into big ones. If we're not enjoying the craft, we're doing it wrong. So we've made having fun a non-negotiable part of how we work.

Top nerds, unapologetically

We are nerds. Proudly. We go deep on the details, we love the tools, we read the docs, and we get unreasonably excited about things most people find boring. That obsession is our edge — and it's the thing that lets small teams punch far above their weight.

This blog is where we'll think out loud: essays on company building, distribution-first thinking, the missing middle, AI, and whatever else we're nerding out on that week.
